CLIENT TESTIMONY - THE MVMT PROJECT — Dorn Media & Marketing

I recently had the pleasure of working with Kaylee Dorn, and her company, The MVMT Project, to create a better content marketing strategy and maximize her external messaging!

Following the project, I asked Kaylee to answer a few questions about her experience of working together:

Question:

What WAS your understanding of marketing and how has it CHANGED?

Kaylee’s Answer:

My understanding of marketing was that I was going to need to yell louder & talk to more people than everyone else to gain their attention. This was daunting as it didn't align with how I've done relationships and life genuinely in the past

Isaiah helped me understand that by refining my message, I don't have to change who & how I am about communicating with people, I don't have to try and yell louder than everyone else, I simply need to refine my message & help others understand what I offer. That way they can see a picture or read a brief blip & understand what I do enough to understand whether or not they could benefit from my service.

Question:

What are some of the key marketing ideas that you focus on?

Kaylee’s Answer:

Prompting others to see the value in what I offer. I offer muscle work & chiropractic home visits. There are two extremely unique things about what I do: 1. I come to you and 2. I provide a quality game plan that offers more than a quick 5 minute adjustment, but necessary & supplemental soft tissue work. Isaiah helped me realize that I have an incredible business model & my lack of gaining patients wasn't because it was a bad idea, but rather a lack of communicating well & educating my target audience. Once people know what I do & they understand that I'm genuinely passionate about that specific service, folks are interested!

Question:

How has Isaiah helped you think differently about marketing?

Kaylee’s Answer:

It can be fun! Starting my business was a bit daunting as I wouldn't call myself an entrepreneur. Isaiah has helped me set up a creative platform that makes it fun for me to interact with potential patients via the web. He's taken incredible photos that portray not only what I do, but the passion that I have for what I do and that's a game changer for me. He's given me tools to work with that help me get excited and make me feel good about what I'm doing for people. He's able to capture a photo that says exactly what I do and how excited I am about doing it. Isaiah has also helped me brainstorm & refine my verbal message that goes along with those photos.
